“Cheerleading has been a significant part of my life, inspired by my older sister, who was also a cheerleader. Watching her at competitions and seeing the strong bond and sense of family within her team made me aspire to be like her. Cheer has given me some of my best friends and closest relationships, for which I am incredibly grateful for. Another big part of why I love cheer is because of the little kids who look up to us every day. One of my favorite things is when I’m in a cheer uniform and little ones are so excited to see us, it makes my heart happy. I am incredibly grateful for this amazing sport.”
